So you want to write a successful & effective novel. They’re some items that I learned along the way from learning to be a writer. I know these exact things work because I did them and they’ve demonstrated to be great and very effective.
The first problem you will run into is just finishing the novel. We all procrastinate sometimes but you have to state when enough is enough. Things you need to accomplish is motivate yourself in order to complete the novel. Consider a question. Why am I writing a book? How will this help me or another person? Think of how your daily life will change after you finish the novel. First think about, what might make you happy? You understand the tiny things like, magazines, clothes, CD’s, DVD s or anything that provides you a little pleasure. Second create a tiny goal on your own like writing five sentences each day or even three sentences. After you accomplish your goal that day, reward yourself with a tiny gift. This might be a cup of hot chocolate or even a magazine. Tell yourself that you’re having the reward for writing and watch the difference in the way you feel. The trick to a successful and effective finish is just to have yourself writing. You could only write five sentences some days but you will discover yourself writing a lot more on other days.
Another principle that works for me is to wait on writing the outline for the book. I usually write the outline when I’m almost near นิยาย or after the 5th chapter. It may just be in my head, but I prefer to think that it gives my story a larger sense of spontaneity. If I don’t know what’s going to occur, I will be sure that the reader doesn’t know. Usually the one downfall that I run into writing in this way is sometimes you could have to write a chapter or two over or even then add chapters. It’s worth it to me though, I usually get a product that my reader can’t put down.
I almost forgot, please cool it on words that end in L-Y. I don’t even want to state the name of them I hate them so much. You understand when writers say she passionately kissed him, or he violently hit him over the head. It’s demonstrates you’re an amateur writer when people read this. Just tell the story. That’s all that’s necessary to do. Just limit these words please.
Oh and my last tip: ensure that if your character does something, it’s always in character. For example, if your primary character is shy and bashful, please don’t make him go up to girl and get her phone number. Let the type live by allowing him to state and do items that are standard for him. Well there you have it. Now you’re on your way to writing a successful & effective first fiction novel.
